Holly Lodge

Self catering holiday cottage

Holly Lodge is everything you need for a carefree country holiday.

Holly Lodge has been converted to a high English Tourist Board 3 Star standard and is situated adjacent to Holly Tree Cottage which was built in the 17th century in the traditional Herefordshire half-timbered style.

You will find everything you need for a carefree country holiday; with ample off-road parking, the Lodge is fully furnished for four adults, with two country-style bedrooms; one double and two singles.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator with ice box.

The comfortably-furnished spacious sitting room is triple aspect, with colour television, electric fire, books and games. Double french doors lead to a patio garden for the use of the Lodge guests.

The bathroom is also on the ground floor and is equipped with a full-sized bath with shower over, also a shaver point.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are in the cottage style with sloping ceilings: The double bedroom is galleried and overlooks the kitchen; the raised area at one end affords good views of the distant hills. The other bedroom has twin beds. Each room has ample drawer space and a wardrobe is provided on the landing.

Bed linen, towels, tea-towels, electricity and heating (in-season) are all included .

Excellent walking country can be found both locally among the hills and famous cider apple orchards, and on the Offa’s Dyke Long Distance Path along the Herefordshire and Welsh borders.

Maps, walking books and details are all to be found in the Lodge.
