2022 HEREFORDSHIRE GUIDE BOOK LAUNCH

ESL’s recent Tourism Exchange at The Causeway Restaurant saw the Right Worshipful Mayor of Hereford, Paul Stevens, cut the ribbon on the prestigious 2022 Jubilee edition of The Ultimate Herefordshire guide book along with 70 Tourism Providers from around the county.

Herefordshire Golf Club’s stylish new restaurant and event space was the vibrant venue for Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire’s (ESL) buzzing Tourism Exchange, which enabled tourism businesses from across the sector to network, build relationships and enjoy a valuable leaflet swap to give visitors.

ESL’s famous guide books were released before the Easter tourism rush to visitor centres, attractions, and high foot flow destinations across Herefordshire, its border counties and also key national locations across the country and will continue throughout the summer season. This comprehensive and beautifully presented free guide is a powerful tool with which to attract visitors in to the area as well as steering holiday makers around the county once they’ve arrived.

“I know lots of locals who would love this guide book too” said Choccotastic business owner and ESL Member Heather from Ledbury. “I’m amazed at the things I don’t know about on my doorstep and will certainly be using it myself” she beamed.

“I am particularly pleased to see a street map of Hereford City” said the Mayor Paul Stevens “and promotion of our H’AppleFest celebration planned for October 2022, which will be a major event for the City.”

“My guests can’t wait for the new edition every year” said Lowe Farm B&B owner Juliet Williams. “They love how bright, informative and well put together it is with everything in one place. I send them home with a few each to their parts of the country for their family and friends to encourage them all to come to Herefordshire.”

“We’re delighted to be part of Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire” said The Causeway’s General Manager Jordan Reading “and this event has introduced so many people to our new venue.”

Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire’s events are free and open to Members and Non-Members that are tourism businesses. To find out about the next events, free marketing training webinars, and what’s happening in tourism for Herefordshire, sign up to ESL’s monthly newsletters here.
