Herefordshire Council is looking for the help of businesses in assisting the re-opening of pubs and restaurants, cafes and coffee shops etc around the county.
With proposed distancing measures still to be confirmed, they are considering how planning rules can be relaxed to facilitate outdoor seating for the hospitality sector and reminding businesses that there will be a requirement for pavement licences for 6 or more pieces of furniture placed on the highway or public realm. There may also be temporary changes to the serving of alcohol in those spaces.
