The Official Tourism Website for Herefordshire

Destination Bromyard

ESL’s Managing Director, Heidi Chamberlain-Jones was delighted to be invited to speak about their plans for the county’s tourism economy at July’s meeting of the Bromyard Chamber of Trade and Industry.

Around 35 businesses from in and around the area attended the event at The Falcon Hotel in the centre of this active market town, known for its year-round hosting of amazing festivals.

From accommodation providers to food and drink destinations, event organisers and those generally interested in developing Bromyard’s visitor economy and foot flow, the room heard how Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire is leading the promotion of the county to put it on the visitor map, and how organisers and businesses can engage with and support these marketing activities.

Bromyard is certainly looking for ways to actively develop its share of the growing UK ‘staycation’ visitor market, and a new enthusiasm and direction is being harnessed by an energetic group of inspiring business owners.

There are some incredible things happening in Bromyard and East Herefordshire” enthused Heidi. “From luxury treehouse retreats like Treeopia to fine dining destinations such as Pensons, and amazing experiences at Chase Distillery, as well as the wider plethora of casually accessible yet beautifully presented places to eat and stay, this region of the ‘shire has so much to offer.

Hugging the Worcestershire border, visitors to the Cotswolds and West Midlands are within an easy catchment to enjoy a wonderful day trip or short break to the Bromyard area’s attractions including gardens, shopping villages and the aforementioned calendar of unique events.

We are looking forward to opening the country’s eyes to this exciting area and would like to thank those energetic people that welcomed us to collaborate with them, including Charlotte Martin, Lucy Aldridge, David James and Peter Andrews, as well as all those who attended the evening” Heidi applauded.

Team ESL is looking forward to working more with those vibrant Bromyard businesses and welcomes any enquiries from the area to: heidi@eatsleepliveherefordshire.co.uk T: 07713 243869
