ESL Herefordshire Tourism Forum at The Temple Bar Inn

This week we held our second ESL Herefordshire Tourism Forum at The Temple Bar Inn, Ewyas Harold.  It was wonderful to welcome attendees from all over Herefordshire.

The Temple Bar Inn did a fantastic job of hosting us with delicious homemade cakes and refreshments. All served in the most welcoming surroundings of the light and airy restaurant which turned onto a conference room for the morning.

The Temple Bar Inn sits at the hub of pretty village, Ewyas Harold. A perfect spot for a relaxing break and just a stones throw from Wales. It has been extensively refurbished by the Jinman family owners and is managed as a free house with bar, games room, restaurant, function room, outside seating area, and three en-suite B&B rooms. Food is served throughout the day including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

There was a buzz in the air as people arrived and enjoyed relaxed networking together.

There were presentations from Gill Jinman from The Temple Bar Inn, Team ESL, David Bethell from the FSB and Mark Prothero from Hereford First Aid Training. Mark demonstrated how to help somebody who is choking with the help of a willing volunteer, which was really appreciated by all.

All speakers were asked questions and there was general discussions amongst everybody which was delightful and encouraging for tourism in Herefordshire.

After the presentations, there was a guided tour of The Temple Bar Inn, including their wonderful B&B accommodation, and then a final chance to network and chat (and finish off the cakes).

We were absolutely delighted once again with the turn out and the support shown to Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire.

With grateful thanks to the Herefordshire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) for their kind sponsorship of our forum events.
