Kate Moby is a designer whose hand drawn, nature-focused illustrations on homeware, stationery and gifts have been featured in many pub-lications including The Guardian and Country Homes Magazine and are available from independent stockists.

Her designs are created using bamboo grown in her Herefordshire studio garden, which is formed into dip pens and used with pots of ink. Kate is also a talented photographer and graphic designer whose clients include the BBC and Cartier.

Learn how to carve your own bamboo dip pen, with all the tools and guidance needed. We will be photographing nature in the hotel’s garden, selecting our favourite photos and drawing from them, using your freshly-crafted pen and ink. Combining ancient and modern techniques, this inspiring and creative workshop will cover technique, composition, and how to use the latest editing apps.
