Beer on the Wye
Beer on the Wye, Hereford’s annual beer and cider festival is back and is set to return to Hereford over the weekend of the 11 – 13 July 2025 at the Hereford Rowing Club.
BEER: Beer on the Wye will showcase over 135+ different real beers from breweries the length and breadth of the UK, with styles ranging from light ales to stouts; from lagers to dark milds and probably everything in between. As always there will be the popular Herefordshire Brewers’ Bar). The Foreign Beers Bar will again offer an eclectic and interesting range of 40 beers from overseas catering for those with more international tastes.
CIDER & PERRY: As you might expect for an event based in Hereford there will be the very best range of ciders and perries from our local producers as well as some from the neighbouring counties. In total there will a choice of 130+ draught ciders and perries (over 100 from small Herefordshire producers) and a number of bottled products, some will be from new producers, as this vibrant sector continues to expand.
Once again, beers and ciders will be sold in third-pint measures, as well as the normal halves and pints. EVERY one of the drinks sold is cooled – so you’re guaranteed a refreshing drink every time.

BANDS: Nine live bands throughout the weekend, line-up to be announced.
FOOD: Food (hot and cold) will be available at ALL times the festival is open (with vegetarians well catered for). A hot breakfast service will be provided on the festival site for campers on the Saturday and Sunday mornings. Tyrrells crisps will be available on the various bars at all times.
SUNDAY IS FAMILY FUN DAY: A great opportunity for all the family to relax and have some fun with 60p off a pint and activities for all, it’s a very relaxed session and each year is becoming increasingly popular.
With appropriate live entertainment and a number of activities for children of all ages hopefully it allows both the parents and the smaller people a chance to enjoy the riverside atmosphere of Beer on the Wye XV. There is hot and cold food, plus a number of soft drinks, sweets, crisps etc available to buy.
CAMPING: Beer on the Wye XV is blessed with a festival village camp site, it is in the same meadow as the main marquee.
The camp-site is run by Hereford Rowing Club (HRC), and facilities available to campers include round-the-clock use of the modern and clean toilet and shower facilities in the HRC clubhouse. It is anticipated that there will be a hot breakfast service on-site from 9am on the Saturday and Sunday mornings for those camping. Otherwise, city centre venues (cafes, shops etc) are only a 10-12 minute walk away. No pre-booking of pitches is required it is OK to pay on arrival on the day.
