Learn how to make your own wooden pole lathe to take home. Join Maurice Clother, an expert artisan wood turner and discover the ancient craft of green wood working.

In times past bodgers would set up their pole lathes right in the woods and work the green wood harvested from the coppice. on this three day course you will craft your very own pole lathe to take home and turn wood at your leisure. the first two days will cover making the pole lathe using traditional tools and the third day will enable you to make some turned products on your finished pole lathe.
