Catch your imagination with Meadow Arts
A day of creative fun for families
at Hereford College of Arts
Meadow Arts and Hereford College of Arts have joined forces to host a Get Creative Family Arts Festival event at Hereford College of Arts’ historic listed building, College Road Campus.
Giant Sculpture – Meet the Artist – The Big Draw – Letterpress Printing –
Fun Photo Booth – Fantasy Makeup – Make Your Own Sculpture and more!
Artist Susie MacMurray has been commissioned by Meadow Arts to create a huge immersive sculpture at Hereford College of Arts – visitors will be able to interact with ‘Blur’ by walking around and inside the sculpture.
Susie MacMurray has a reputation for poetic site-specific interventions in historic spaces; the sculpture will be the focal point for a day of creativity in the heart of Hereford as part of nationwide project, the Get Creative Family Arts Festival 2016. Families and budding artists of all ages will get a chance to talk to Susie as she builds her sculptural installation.
As well as Susie’s giant structure, the programme includes family friendly art activities – a letterpress workshop, make your own sculpture, fun photo booth, live music, fantasy makeup and The Big Draw.
