Christmas Indian Block Printing Workshop

Learn the art of Indian Block Printing at Tudor Farmhouse Hotel in the Forest of Dean this Christmas.

You will be guided through the traditional art of Indian block printing, which gives you the ability to easily handprint your own materials in a choice of designs and colours.

You’ll have the chance to print on both paper and fabric, using a collection of designs and a selection of hand mixed textile colours.

This workshop will be focused on Christmas printing, helping you get stocked up for the festive season.

There will be a detailed demonstration showing you how to Block Print and the equipment you need. Then its time for you to play and practice your printing and then when confident move onto printing a selection of items.

Before heading home your fabric items will be heat set to make them washable to 40 degrees.

Materials included in the workshop: Practice Fabric/ Plain Cotton, Paper, Tags, Cards & Envelopes, Tea Towel or Tote Bag.

Block Printing is simple and easy to pick up, with instant and satisfying results.

Tea, Coffee & Mince Pies will be served during the workshop.
