Ciderlands at Museum of Cider
Herefordshire is incredibly proud to host the first international conference of CIDERLANDS; a network of cider-producing countries looking to develop tourism through their love of and commonalities in cider.
Comprising four days of activities across Herefordshire 11-13 October in peak harvest time, Ciderlands Herefordshire 2019 will offer an unparalleled showcase of the region’s proud cider heritage and the role that cider continues to play in the county, to the cider tourism professionals from throughout the Ciderlands network.
JOIN THE CELEBRATION
In Herefordshire we have some of the best cider makers in the world! And in Hereford, the only professional museum dedicated to the history of cider. They have teamed up to bring you a unique and entertaining evening of food, drink, dance, music, international cider tastings and so much more!
In the marquee you’ll have a wide selection of craft cider to choose from, at reasonable prices, served by the makers themselves. Entertainment will be provided by live music and with Foxwhelp Morris. Sponsors Heineken and Westons will also have a presence, and quality street food will be available to buy.
Includes FREE entry to the Cider Museum with guided tours of the magnificent cider cellars. There will also be stands about local history and heritage orchards for you to find out more about the county you love, and a new exhibition.
Finally, and excitingly, you get to meet cider makers from around the world. We’ll be having a go at trying some of their traditional cider ways too.
