Core Strength – Half Term Pottery Fun

During October ½ term, families are invited to indulge in a little bit of apple-based clay modelling fun at Eastnor Pottery near Ledbury. 

CORE STRENGTH is the project title and participants of all ages and abilities get the opportunity to fashion a ‘superhero apple’ using soft clay. It could be a kung foo kicking Granny Smith or an alluring Pink Lady super spy – anything goes!

The creative fun doesn’t stop at the clay modelling, oh no, families get to paint their apple superheros with coloured underglazes and slips right there and then!

The apples will need to dry thoroughly before they are fired and glazed. This whole process takes about a month and participants will be contacted once their pottery has emerged from the kiln. If they are unable to collect their pottery masterpieces, P+P can be arranged at £5 per person.

1.5 hr sessions commence at 9.30am, 11.30am and 2pm and places cost £20 per person.

Pre-booking is essential, and places are limited due to the rule of six and social distancing.

Children must be accompanied by a fee paying, participating adult. (Sorry no spectators!)
