Get Creative with Hereford College of Arts this Christmas!

Join the team for Christmas creativity in these specialist workshops. Inspiring staff will encourage you to let your imagination sparkle as you design and make your very own Christmas products to gift, or keep and enjoy for years to come.

Suitable for individuals, groups of friends, or business colleagues wanting to get together for something a bit different this year – these one off workshops are a wonderful way to bring some festive making into your celebrations this year.

Workshops take place on two dates at the end of November and early December at the Folly Lane Campus, where parking is free. Each date will include festive refreshments and Christmas music.

Saturday 30th November 2019 Time: 10-12.30 

Make a Personalised Silver Ring – £30
Course Code: 1920OESILVA4

Hand make your own personalised silver ring in our Small Metals workshop. You will learn basic skills and techniques of Silversmithing, including cutting, soldering and shaping to create a fantastic gift for a loved one or a Christmas treat for yourself!

Glass Christmas Tree Decorations – £30
Course Code: 1920OETREEA4

Working with coloured glass and powdered Frits, make your own Christmas tree decoration in our ceramics workshop. You will create your own stencil and learn basic glass making and decorative techniques. Pop your decoration in the kiln at the end of the session to be fired,  it will then be available for collection from reception the following afternoon. Alternatively, please contact the Short Course Team if you would like your decorations posted to you.

Hand Printed Christmas Cards – £30

Print your own Christmas cards and create a bespoke greeting for someone special. Using techniques such as lino and poly printing, or traditional letter press, you will hand-print your own cards in our print workshop.

Christmas Table Centre Piece – £50
Course Code: 1920OETABLA4

Come and join us in a relaxed and informal workshop. Create a lavish floral arrangement using seasonal flowers and foliage’s and a bit of Christmas sparkle. Learn the skills of wiring flowers and adornments to decorate your home.
