Play and sports equipment can be borrowed from the visitor welcome centre from 20 July – 1 September. Summer of Play activities are free to take part in (normal admission applies).

There are endless ways to play this summer at Croft Castle. Little ones can explore the natural world, burn off steam, and let their imaginations run wild with activities and games that encourage the whole family to get stuck in. Create your own adventure in the natural play area, get active with a whole host of garden games, and become king or queen of the mini castle play area. Try it all, find your favourite, come back again and again.

The whimsical woods – summer holidays trail

Take a magical journey through the grounds and gardens at Croft and discover the whimsical woodland creatures and features as you explore.

This trail will be running every day of the summer holidays, from 20 July to 1 September. Trail packs cost £3 and include an activity sheet, colouring pencils, and a prize.
