Cultivate Workshops at The Sidney Nolan Trust
Cultivate is a new programme, based at The Sidney Nolan Trust, for young people aged 15 to 25 with an interest in the arts and who want to meet other young creatives, to investigate, experiment and make.
The Cultivate Programme has been running since June 2021. It provides young people with an interest in the arts, a social space and the opportunity to work with professional artists and makers to explore, discuss and question ideas.
To date, the young people have worked with a wide range of artists including Lal Davies, Stefhan Caddick, Jony Easterby, Giles W Bennett, Paul Granjon, Heather Peak (Studio Morison), Mariele Neudecker, Gemma Costin, Faith Limbrick and Tom Goddard (Gentle Radical).
Cultivate is led by artist, technologist and educator Emma Posey. The programme is open and actively invites young people to join the group at any time. Cultivate is open to all who are aged 15-25 yrs. No previous artistic experience is required.
Session dates are:
