Drama workshop with The Cracked Slipper Company
Community Drama Workshops. Suitable for10 yrs and over, in association with The Knife Angel, Hereford.
Firstly watching a live performance or film, participants will have an awareness and knowledge of the decisions affecting an individual who may perpetrate a knife crimes.
The participants will be making a series of creative responses within the workshop, supported by the facilitators. The workshop will end with positive messages of actions we can all take to prevent violent crime.
Also known as the National Monument Against Violence and Aggression, this magnificent 27ft statue built from 100,000 confiscated knives and blades will come to the city on Monday 14 June and will remain in place outside the West door of Hereford Cathedral until 12 July.
The Knife Angel will be located outside the cathedral and will be free to visit with no need for visitors to book in advance. Relevant precautions, including a one-way system around the Knife Angel and volunteer stewarding teams, will be in place during the day to help welcome and guide visitors.

Prior to lockdown, the Angel toured around the UK and has become a national monument against violence and aggression in all its forms.
