ALLELUJAH (12A)
A warm and deeply moving story about old age based on Alan Bennett’s stage play of the same name. When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital is threatened with closure, the hospital decides to fight back by galvanizing the local community: they invite a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honour of the hospital’s most distinguished nurse. What could go wrong? Starring Judi Dench, Jennifer Saunders, Jesse Akele and David Bradley.

Follow three mummies as they end up in present-day London and embark on a journey in search of an old ring belonging to the Royal Family, stolen by the ambitious archaeologist Lord Carnaby.

ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT (15)
Adapted from Erich Maria Remarque’s 1928 novel, this German war epic is dominating the technical categories this year with 9 Oscar and 14 BAFTA nominations. One thing’s for sure, it’s to be seen on the big screen! The film is set in World War I and follow a soldier name Paul as he enlists in the German Army and confront the harrowing reality of war. Foreign language with English subtitles.

THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN (15)
We couldn’t wait to bring this tortured friendship back and with 9 Oscar and 10 BAFTA nominations it was a no brainer! Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, The Banshees of Inisherin follows lifelong friends Padraic (Farrell) and Colm (Gleeson), who find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly puts an end to their friendship. A stunned Padraic, aided by his sister Siobhan and a troubled young islander, endeavours to repair the relationship, refusing to take no for an answer. We are also thrilled to be screening the Oscar and BAFTA nominated short film An Irish Goobye before all screenings of Banshees of Inisherin.
An Irish Goodbye: On a farm in rural Northern Ireland, estranged brothers Turlough (Seamus O’Hara) and Lorcan (James Martin) are forced to reunite following the untimely death of their mother (Michelle Fairley). But when the pair discover an unfulfilled bucket list belonging to their late mum, their pained reunion takes an altogether different course.

Normal People star Paul Mescal gives his Oscar nominated performance in Charlotte Wells’ superb and searingly emotional debut film. At a fading vacation resort, 11-year-old Sophie treasures rare time together with her loving and idealistic father, Calum (Paul Mescal). As a world of adolescence creeps into view, beyond her eye Calum struggles under the weight of life outside of fatherhood. Twenty years later, Sophie’s tender recollections of their last holiday become a powerful and heartrending portrait of their relationship, as she tries to reconcile the father she knew with the man she didn’t.

A MAN CALLED OTTO (15)
Tom Hanks’ grump face just couldn’t stay away for too long! After rave reviews in January the hit comedy-drama is back. A remake of the fantastic novel and 2015 Swedish film, A Man Called Ove, now starring Tom Hanks as the newly named Otto. Otto is the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him ‘the bitter neighbour from hell’.

EMPIRE OF LIGHT (15)
Back by popular demand, Mendes’ 80s drama follows cinema manager struggling with her mental health, and a new employee longing to escape. Nominated for 3 BAFTAS and 1 Oscar for legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins (Dune, Blade Runner 2049).

ERIC RAVILIOUS: DRAWN TO WAR (PG)
The first major feature film about Eric Ravilious, the much loved but hugely underestimated British Official War Artist artist, killed in a plane crash over Iceland in 1942. Featuring contributions from artists Ai Weiwei and Grayson Perry, writers Alan Bennett and Robert Macfarlane, the film recounts a life as compelling and enigmatic as his art, set against the dramatic wartime locations that inspired him.

EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE (15)
A middle-aged Chinese immigrant is swept up into an insane adventure in which she alone can save existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led. With 11 Oscar and 10 BAFTA nominations, EEAAO is running away with the awards season. The performances of leading actress Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians) and supporting actor Ke Huy Quan (Short Round from Indiana Jones!) have swept all the awards so far and it’s likely to continue. This crazy sci-fi flick is unrelentingly funny and never fails to pull at your heart, it’s not to be missed! Limited foreign language excerpts with English subtitles.

FASHION REIMAGINED (12A)
This documentary follows Amy Powney, a daughter of environmental activists, during her trajectory from outsider to industry leader as she sets out to create a fashion collection that’s ethical and sustainable at every level.

PEARL (15)
In 1918, a young woman on the brink of madness pursues stardom in a desperate attempt to escape the drudgery, isolation and lovelessness of life on her parents’ farm. This American Horror-drama has stunned audiences across the pond and leading actress Mia Goth (Emma) has received much acclaim.

PLANE (15)
Brodie Torrance saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island – only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare, an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

SNAKE VS BEAR DOUBLE BILL
With all these awards-worthy films screening, sometimes it’s nice to sit back and enjoy something so ridiculous you can’t help but enjoy it! With that in mind we thought we’d revisit the Natural Horror sub-genre for some classically oversized and overaggressive animal action. Book on to both films for just £10 and add a hot dog, popcorn and soft drink to your order for just £5!

ANACONDA 35MM (15)
We couldn’t help but start with this 90s classic, and we’ll be screening it on an original 1997 print! When a documentary crew traveling through the Amazon jungle, picks up a stranded man, they are unaware of the trouble that will occur. This stranger’s hobby is to capture the giant Anaconda snake, and plans to continue targeting it on their boat, by any means necessary.

COCAINE BEAR (15)
You mean the title of the film wasn’t enough for you? Okay, here you are then: Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild dark comedy finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow and blood.
