Sit back and relax in The Courtyard Cinema with their intimate 120 seater Studio screening up to 4 films a day from Monday – Saturday. Or, you can immerse yourself in the big screen on the Main House stage.
From brilliant blockbusters to art-house films. Or, spectacular Live Screenings from around the world to local writers first work. Even, Borderlines Film Festival to Courtyard Family Saturday screenings. There’s something for everyone at The Courtyard Cinema.
Refreshments are included in the ticket price of regular Breakfast Screenings. Look out for pre-screening readings, debates, discussions and more! Remember to take a look on the website or ask Box Office if a film you want to see has anything extra happening.

Super smart mouse Pattie and her feline friend Sam embark upon an exciting adventure of paw-some proportions through Ancient Greece. With a little help from ageing hero Jason, the animals’ quest brings them face to face with some the most bizarre and dangerous creatures from Greek mythology, as they race to halt the threat posed to their city by Poseidon himself.

Marcel is an adorable one-inch-tall shell who ekes out a colourful existence with his grandmother Connie and their pet lint, Alan. Once part of a sprawling community of shells, they now live alone as the sole survivors of a mysterious tragedy. But when a documentary filmmaker discovers them amongst the clutter of his Airbnb, the short film he posts online brings Marcel millions of passionate fans, as well as unprecedented dangers and a new hope at finding his long-lost family. A beloved character gets his big-screen debut in this hilarious and heart-warming story about finding connection in the smallest corners.

With an all-star cast, this adaptation of Miriam Toews book is an incredibly acted drama. The women of an isolated religious colony reveal a shocking secret about the colony’s men. For years, the men have occasionally drugged the women and then assaulted them. The truth comes out and the women must decide how to move forward.

EVERYthing everywhere all at once (15)
A middle-aged Chinese immigrant is swept up into an insane adventure in which she alone can save existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led. With 11 Oscar and 10 BAFTA nominations, EEAAO is running away with the awards season. The performances of leading actress Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians) and supporting actor Ke Huy Quan (Short Round from Indiana Jones!) have swept all the awards so far and it’s likely to continue. This crazy sci-fi flick is unrelentingly funny and never fails to pull at your heart, it’s not to be missed! Limited foreign language excerpts with English subtitles.

ALLELUJAH (12A)
A warm and deeply moving story about old age based on Alan Bennett’s stage play of the same name. When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital is threatened with closure, the hospital decides to fight back by galvanizing the local community: they invite a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honour of the hospital’s most distinguished nurse. What could go wrong?
