Half term at Brockhampton Eastate

Looking for nature filled autumn adventures with the family? Here are just a few suggestions of how you can spend a fun-filled day out across the Brockhampton Estate including half term activities inside and out.

Pumpkins trail Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November – 10am until 4.30pm

This October half-term, follow the trail through the orchards at Brockhampton to find the pumpkins.

Trails cost £3 per child and include a prize.

Hallowtide celebrations in the manor house Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November 11am until 5pm

Over half term there will be activities and displays throughout the house explaining the history of Hallowtide as well as a children’s trail with mini ghosts to spot in every room. Free event (normal admission applies).

Kids activity in the kitchen Monday 28 October – 11am until 4pm

On 28 October there will be a craft activity to have a go at making your own bat by decorating a pine cone with paper eyes and teeth. Free event (normal admission applies).

Wednesday 30 October – 11am until 4pm

Try stone pumpkin painting. Pick up one of the pebbles and have a go at painting a scary or friendly pumpkin face. Free event (normal admission applies).
