HARC in partnership with the Worker’s Educational Association present the HARC Handwriting Introduction Course.
HARC Handwriting Introduction Course
This fascinating course will cover the Tudor and Stuart periods. You will gain an overview of the styles of scripts used in a range of historical document types . Practical hands-on sessions are included enabling you to start reading example texts. The course tutor is Dr Charlotte Berry, an experienced archivist and researcher.
Tea and coffee is available at HARC.

HARC hold a wide range of sources useful for family historians and experienced researchers.
As well as holding the national General Register Office indexes, HARC offers free access to the Ancestry website for online searching. The local indexes compiled by the Herefordshire Family History Society can be viewed in person at the archive service.
