Have-a-go Archery
Visit Hampton Court Castle this August and meet the Archers of Teme who will be answering questions about all things archery and guiding visitors through having a go themselves.
The Archers of Teme are one of the oldest archery clubs in the county having been founded in 1856.
Visitors will be guided through basic archery techniques and can have a go with the three targets on the lawns. There is no lower age limit and smaller bows can be provided to younger children who have a parent or carer present to assist. On Wednesdays there will also be a medieval archer joining the team.
There is no extra cost for the event, normal garden entry fees apply. There are no specific event times, the archery will be available throughout the day.
