The gallery makers have been featured throughout the year to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Hay Makers. Jenny Chippindale is a felt maker who makes the wonderful hats and scarves, as well as papermache necklaces and earrings, painted with the most beautiful, if subtle colours.

The rich, earthy colours of Jenny’s work fits in really well with the Autumn Exhibition which features the leaves and acorns in silver of Lucy Jade Sylvester’s jewellery, whose love of nature is shared by Claudia Petley and Paul Shepherd, blacksmiths who make birds and bats in steel for the garden, Sally Ayling whose necklaces feature garden birds and Deborah Baynes whose ceramics are inspired by tectures found in nature, such as ripples in the sand and spirals on snail shells.

The gallery is open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 10.30 to 1.30 and 2.00 till 5.00 and on Sunday from 11.00 till 4.00.
