HCA Summer School – Ceramics

As part of Hereford College of Arts Adult Summer Art School Experience this course HCA Summer School – Ceramics, offers you the chance to immerse yourself in some real creativity as you master the art of Ceramic making.

HCA Summer School – Ceramics will be lead by experienced artists in a fantastic Art School environment.

Details of the course: This aim of the course is to provide you with the opportunity to access the college’s entire Ceramics workshop. You will be encouraged to freely explore hand building, glazing, extruding, slip casting and plaster work. A Tuesday visit to the National Trust’s Berrington Hall will provide you with inspiration to inform and develop your work during the course. A hand’s on opportunity will be provided to experience throwing by the course’s guest practitioner. With plenty of workshop time to create your own work, supported and informed by your course tutor the week will allow you to broaden your artistic and technical processes, finishing with individual tutor feedback.
