As part of Hereford College of Arts Adult Summer Art School Experience this course HCA Summer School – Digital Photography, offers you the chance to immerse yourself in some real creativity as you master the art of Digital Photography.

The course will be lead by Oliver Cameron Swan in a fantastic Art School environment.

Course overview: This aim of this course is to introduce you to the basic functions of the digital SLR camera. You will gain the confidence and ability to move away from using the camera’s automatic functions and on to manual settings. The course involves studio and outdoor sessions, basic flash techniques and image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop CC. A Tuesday visit to the National Trust’s Berrington Hall will provide you with inspiration to inform and develop your work during the course. An opportunity to further develop your knowledge will be provided by the course’s guest practitioner. With plenty of time to create your own work, supported and informed by your course tutor the week will allow you to broaden your artistic and technical processes, finishing with individual tutor feedback.

For further information on the course and tutor, please visit the college website.
