HCA Summer School – Screen Printing

As part of Hereford College of Arts Adult Summer Art School Experience this course HCA Summer School – Screen Printing, offers you the chance to immerse yourself in some real creativity as you master the art of Screen Printing.

Lead by experienced Amy Pegler in a real art school environment.

Course overview: The aim of this course is to teach you the skills required to create your own textile designs. These can then be printed onto fabrics suitable for furnishings or clothing. The course starts with a trip to a local warehouse to explore and discuss the use of different fabrics. A Tuesday visit to the National Trust’s Berrington Hall will provide you with inspiration to inform and develop your work during the course, as well as a guest practitioner who will join the course to discuss their work.  With plenty of workshop time to create your own work, supported and informed by your course tutor the week will allow you to broaden your artistic and technical processes, finishing with individual tutor feedback.
