Hellens Outdoor Learning Conference

Hellens Outdoor Learning Conference is for all practitioners who support outdoor learning and play across the educational curriculum.
This conference explores the importance of the outdoor experiential environment and provides an opportunity learn new skills and meet practitioners from across the three counties.

Keynote talk   ‘ From Stone Age to Urban Forest School’

Stars of Channel 4 documentary “Surviving the Stone Age” and authors of ‘Forest School Adventure’ & ‘Urban Forest School’,  Naomi Walmsley and Dan Westall will be sharing their experiences of living wild and the ways in which we can facilitate nature connection even in the most urban of settings. (https://www.outback2basics.co.uk/)

4. Caroline Gilbert from ‘Cultivating Learning and Nature’ – Wet wool felting
