Herefordshire Spring Foraging and Fine Dining Events
Meet at Byford Court at 11am, the day starts there with canapés and a 30 minute introductory talk on foraging.
Then the group will head down the road to The Weir Garden, a beautiful National Trust property boasting a lovely riverside garden, mature trees and even some ancient Roman ruins.
The walk will be roughly 2 hours around the grounds identifying the different edible and poisonous Spring shoots, plants, flowers and mushrooms that we find. During the walk there will be little breaks for some of our homemade treats and tasters, possibly including our Hogweed and Wild Garlic soup.
After the walk it is back to Byford Court for elderflower champagne and a five course wild food taster menu.
Alcohol will be available on this course so please arrange a lift/taxi if you will be drinking.
There are limited spaces available so please book your tickets online.
