Monty Don & Melissa Harrison. Herefordshire Wildlife Trust are proud to announce this Zoom event!

Monty Don, the nation’s favourite gardener, nature lover and patron of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust chats to author Melissa Harrison about gardening with, and for, wildlife and the importance of nature in our lives.

Tickets £5, additional donations welcome. This is a fundraising event for Herefordshire Wildlife Trust. Audience will be sent a zoom link shortly before the event begins. The audience will be invited to submit questions when booking tickets.

Monty Don

Monty Don O.B.E. is the UK’s leading garden writer and broadcaster. He has been making television programmes for over twenty years on a range of topics, spanning travel, craft, outdoor living and, principally, gardening. He has been lead presenter of the BBC’s Gardener’s World since 2003 and since 2011 the programme has come from his own garden, Longmeadow, in Herefordshire.

Monty is also Patron of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, generously supporting our work and hosting a Fundraising Dinner event for us in 2017.

 

Melissa HarrisonMelissa Harrison

Melissa Harrison is a novelist and nature writer. Her latest novel, All Among the Barley, was the UK winner of the European Union Prize for Literature and won the  Readers’ Choice at the New Angle Awards. She writes a monthly  Nature Notebook column in The Times and her current podcast The Stubborn Light of Things keeps listeners in touch with the outside world, the weather, and the changing seasons.
