After a sell-out run at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, Jody Kamali Theatre Company brings Ironing Board Man to The Courtyard this season.
In the show, physical comedian, Jody Kamali, skilfully transforms ordinary household items in the tools of a Hollywood-style, action-packed romance, to the background of an unforgettable soundtrack.
With heart-pounding moments and emotional depth, Ironing Board Man earned standing ovations and the following nominations: Best Comedy Dark Chat Awards 2024, Best Comedy Performance Dark Chat Awards 2024, Best Comedy Show Buxton Fringe 2022, Best Show Brighton Fringe 2021.
Jody Kamali is a high energy, physical character comedian and actor. He is a regular face on the alternative comedy and variety circuit in London and the UK. Best known for his You Tube character, ‘Terry The Odd Job Man‘, he has a huge cult following in the West Country.
Early in 2015, Jody was cast in the British feature film ‘Golden Years’, alongside Bernard Hill and has also worked with Harry Hill on his latest madcap TV project ‘Harry Hill’s Tea Time’.
Ironing Board Man is an energetic, physical comedy that delivers laughter, surprises and unexpected emotional twists, captivating audiences from 12 to 80.
