Jack & the Beanstalk
Garlic Theatre, the company that brought Eggs On Legs, The Bag That Went BOO! and Snug And Grub Catch a Bug! return to The Courtyard this January with Jack and the Beans Talk.
Jack lives on a small farm with his mum and very little to eat. He likes to talk to the birds, his cow and anyone who will listen. Imagine his surprise when he swaps his cow for some magic beans and starts to hear a whispering in the breeze and a giant rumble in the sky.
Jack and the Beans Talk is a fresh and funny retelling of the traditional story and an ideal gentle introduction to theatre for ages 3 – 8.
As part of The Courtyard’s Family Saturdays, there will be a free pre-activity for children and families to get involved with from 10.30am. The Courtyard Family Saturdays include workshops, films, shows and extra activities for all the family to enjoy, at an affordable price every Saturday morning at 11am.
This charming and inventive show features plenty of interaction, an enormous beanstalk, bags of gold and a smelly old giant, and is a cautionary tale about what might happen if you throw things out of the window.
Jack and the Beans Talk will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Saturday 25 January at 11am. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
