Friday to Sunday, September 18th – 20th 2020
Kington Walks Festival returns for its ninth year and Kington is looking forward to welcoming old friends and new to this ever popular weekend.
Things however have changed resulting in a very limited Festival this year. Given current government guidelines and restrictions, the number of led walks are limited and restricted numbers to a maximum of 10 people per walk (plus the leader and back marker). In addition to the led walks the self-led Eight Peaks Challenge will be the mainstay of Saturday. There will also be the Six Great Walks Around Kington booklet as a basis for a self-led Festival experience, see the Walks page for more details.
There will be none of the usual evening events during the Festival weekend.
Given the limited availability of spaces online pre-booking is essential. With the exception of the Eight Peaks Challenge, there will be no facility to book walks on the day. On Saturday registrations will be available for Eight Peaks Challenge between 09:00 and 10:00 am at The Oxford Arms, Duke Street, Kington HR5 3DR.
The Festival Office will be available at The Walking Hub, 26 High Street, Kington HR5 3AX, alternatively telephone 07552 087786.
