Ludlow Castle Suitcase Storyteller

On Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 August at Ludlow Castle, join the suitcase storyteller sessions for a fully engaging and interactive dive into storybooks, using props, music, drama & more. This isn’t your standard story reading. Children will step inside and become a part of the tale as it unfolds.

The Suitcase storytellers travel all over the world….. through pages of jungles, through chapters of silliness and surf on book covers to the most wonderful places, and soon they will land at Ludlow Castle!

There will be 4 sessions on both Saturday and Sunday, visitors are welcome to join in one session or stay for all four! All included in the normal admission charge and you can go in and out of the Castle throughout the day with a valid ticket.

Dear Zoo. This session will be Makaton friendly and ideal for early years although all ages are welcome

11.45am

The Magic Easel – suitable for all ages

2.00pm

Room on a Broom – Early years inclusive although all ages are welcome

3.30pm

The Knight Who Wouldn’t Fight – All ages

The sessions will take outdoors in the specially created reading circle, in the event of poor weather there will be some cover but it will still be outdoors.
