Oaker Wood Half Term Activities

Extremely popular with families and groups, Oaker Wood Leisure is an exciting woodland activity site situated between Leominster and Ludlow. Therefore it’s the perfect place to head to this half term if your children are looking for an adventure and want to explore the great outdoors.

There are Multi-Activity Days for children aged 7-1. Days of fun and adventure running around in the woods and experiencing a wide range of Adventurous Activity days including – Zip Wires, Climbing, Rafting, Pistol Shooting and much more.

There are also teenage activity sessions especially for teenagers aged 11-16.

Holiday Clubs & Teen Activities run during Easter and Summer Holidays and February, May and October Half Terms. Places must be pre-booked.

This October half term Holiday Club (for 7–11 yr olds) is on Tuesday 29 October, Wednesday 30 October and Thursday 31 October.

The details:

Tuesday 29 October – Capture The Flag, Borneo Breakout, Zip Wire, Monkey Climb

Wednesday 30 October – BRAND NEW: Wye Valley Falconry Flying Display, Pistol Shooting, Woodland Krypton, Gladiator Challenge, Quick Jump. At this special holiday club children will witness Birds of Prey flying right over their heads, seeing their natural behaviours, aerial agility and hunting techniques. Children will meet a team of trained owls, hawks, falcons and eagles up close for a memorable 1 hour experience.

Thursday 31 October – Pumpkin Carving, Pizza Making, Den Building, Escape n Evasion being chased by ghosts and ghouls!! (feel free to bring a Halloween themed mask or hat)

There will also be a Teen Adventure Day (for 11–16 ye olds) on Wednesday 30 October.
