Paint your own wooden apple

As part of AppleFest, Newton Court are running a family friendly activity that’s all about apples – and it’s fun and creative too.  Have a go at painting your own apples to turn into a fridge magnet, a coaster, a hanging decoration or to make your own garden trees look pretty when the leaves fall.

Local woodworkers Beamers Designs, based at Westhope, have supplied the bespoke apple outlines that need a splash of colour.  Acrylic paints, paint brushes and apple cut-outs are supplied.

The activity costs £2.50 per apple and there’s no need to book, just turn up!
