Perry Fest at The Museum of Cider

The Museum of Cider in Hereford will host Perry Fest on Saturday 4 October 2025, from 11am to 6pm, celebrating Herefordshire’s rich Perry-making heritage. For one day only, the museum will transform into the Museum of Perry, paying tribute to this historic and uniquely regional drink.

Organised in partnership with the Three Counties Cider and Perry Association, the event will shine a spotlight on Perry, a rare and traditional beverage made from pears. Visitors can look forward to expert-led tastings, engaging talks, and informative displays exploring Perry’s deep-rooted connection to the region’s identity including:

A Campaign For Real Ale bar
Craft activities with The Carnival Arts Group
Board games with Hereford Board Gamers
A pop up skittle alley
Food from various local suppliers as well as pear themed bites from the tearoom
Perry sampling
Talks from Little Pomona, Oliver’s Cider and Showering’s Cider
Live music from El Squid
Pear pressing (have a go yourself!) and a beautiful perry pear display
A look into historic photos of Herefordshire

Admission to the museum will be free of charge throughout the day, making it a perfect opportunity for Perry lovers and the wider community to come together and celebrate this unique part of Herefordshire’s cultural heritage.
