
Presteigne Tree Weekend
Presteigne Tree Weekend is a celebration of local trees with free events in and around Presteigne Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 October 2021.
A wide programme of events including guided walks around two private woodlands, talks from The Woodland Trust, exhibitions by local artists, games, quizzes, demonstrations of woodworking, forest school, den building, workshops, apple pressing and more.
Saturday 23rd Went’s Meadow

Creative Writing inspired by trees with Emma Beyon
2 Sessions available 11-12.30 and 13.30-15.00, Drop in activities: plus tea, cake and music 10-4pm
Graffiti & T-shirt printing, please bring a plain old T-shirt, Ink card printing, Nest box making, Broom Making, Watch Mike Abbott making chairs & baby rattles, Willow weaving demonstration and Children’s apple pressing.

Apple Pressing in Radnorshire Arms Garden 11 – 4 No need to book. Bring washed apples from your garden or picked on Went’s Meadow orchards. Bring clean containers to take your juice home
