Queenswood Half Term Adventure Club

Join the fantastic team at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum for their thrilling Queenswood Half Term Adventure Club on Tuesday 18th February between 10.00 and 12.00. Suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years, unaccompanied by an adult.

The Queenswood Half Term Adventure Club will let your children enjoy winter inspired adventures in the woods. Including campfire cooking, fire lighting, den building, using tools, games, seasonal crafts and more! They will build a den to shelter from the weather and learn how to use woodcraft tools. Plus how to whittle a butter knife or a fork to toast something on the camp fire.  Other activities include how to make a feeder to take home for the birds, fire lighting, other crafts and playing seasonal games.

Get Crafty this half term at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum on Wednesday 19th February between 1.30 and 3.30. Your child will learn about animals and birds, make their own printed fossil track to take home and have a chance to play animal track bingo. There is also a nature themed sensory/free play area for younger siblings so that the whole family can get involved. No booking required – just pop into the visitor centre on arrival. This activity is suitable for children aged 3 to 12 years.
