Ross Heritage Walks – The Museum Without Walls
Led by createROSS’ Mark Sanderson, this walk at the top of town will allow you to view the ‘Underhill’ buildings below the Market House as they looked in 1862, the 1724 ‘Rood Screen’ in St Mary’s Church, The Prospect Fountain as it looked in 1700 and King George IV as he passed along Wye Street in 1821.
This fascinating Augmented Reality tour brings back aspects of the town’s past no longer around.
Download the free app from https://museumwithoutwalls.uk onto your smartphone or you can view the tour on devices supplied by your guide.
All walks start and finish at Ross-on-Wye’s Market House in the centre of town.
