Ross Regatta
Ross Regatta, a charitable event held annually in Ross-on-Wye over the August Bank Holiday.
This year the races are :
Sunday, August 25: Ross Masters & Juniors Sprint Regatta (550m downstream) & Monday, August 26: Ross Open Regatta (750m downstream).
Various boat classes, including an exciting Octople event for J14/WJ14 and Memorial 8’s on Monday.
Entries open from 8 pm on Sunday, July 21, and close at 12 noon on Thursday, August 15 (or sooner if capacity is reached). All entries must be made online.
British Rowing now offers a ‘Day Ticket’ category for Ross Regatta, allowing people to buy single-day tickets instead of committing to full annual race membership.
Before the regatta, you can also participate in Dragon Boat Racing on Saturday, August 24. Enjoy riverside camping, evening entertainment, and food.
The Inaugural Duck Race hosted by Ross Lions is at 5pm on Sunday, August 26.
Live music and freshly prepared food on Saturday and Sunday evenings, along with well-stocked bars.
