SNT Open Day

Sidney Nolan Trust Community Open Day

Sidney Nolan Trust are hosting a Community Open Day on Saturday 2 July, 12 noon – 6pm at The Rodd, near Presteigne.
The event will include live music from ‘Cynefin’, the creative vision of West Wales native Owen Shiers whose debut album ‘Dilyn Afon’ (Following A River) was nominated for Welsh Album of the Year 2020. Owen will be joined by the Klezmanouts who draw from a rich tradition of klezmer tunes from around the world.
Queer, non-binary storyteller Kestral Morton will bring stories that carry echoes of the wild edges where the lines between the real and the mythic are blurred and the otherworld overlaps with this one.
Art and Craft will be in good measure, including a mobile blacksmith forge, greenwood working and ‘art in the barn’ suitable for all the family.
To top it all off, there will be a BBQ serving locally soured meat and vegetarian options, hot drinks, cake and a bar.
Aimed at all the family, come and spend a wonderful afternoon in the magical surrounds of The Rodd. We can’t wait to see you there!
