Soup & Steam at Night

Soup & Steam at Night

On Saturday 28th October 2017, the Waterworks Museum presents Soup & Steam at Night as it opens in steam at night for the first time in over 20-years. It is part of the national ‘Museums At Night‘ programme 2017.

Enjoy a light supper and see the Museums steam engines operating as you have never seen them before. What could be more atmospheric than steam at night?

The Museum will be open between 5pm and 9pm, with steam engines operating from 6pm.

There will be activities for children.

Entertainment will be provided The Ledbury Singers, a small mixed voice chamber choir which meets on Tuesday evenings to rehearse for performances in the Herefordshire-Worcestershire- Gloucestershire area. They sing music drawn from chamber choir tradition of motet and madrigal, part song, barbershop and close harmony; from a wide variety of styles from the last 700 years (with a special liking for the Great American Songbook); unaccompanied and, where feasible, from memory.
