Steam-Up Tuesday: Christmas fun at the Waterworks Museum
At the start of the Christmas holidays the Waterworks Museum will be running a special open day on Tuesday 20 December with engines and pumps running, and some in-steam. There’s plenty for children too.
Open from 11am to 4pm. No need to book in advance – tickets available at the door. Free admission for under 16s.
For more information visit www.waterworksmuseum.org.uk or follow us @WaterworkMuseum.
The Waterworks Museum is a destination for steam and industrial history enthusiasts, as well as a family attraction, and includes an award-winning children’s Heritage Water Park. It tells the history of drinking water through working steam engines, interactive displays and hands-on activities, and when the engines are in-steam, visitors can experience the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone age.
