At our March Tasting Day we are launching a brand new beer, Swanderlust. It’s a 3.7% refreshing pale ale with new generation British hops for tangerine and grapefruit notes, delivering US hop character, yet bred and grown in Herefordshire. We’ll have a full bar of handpulls, hence Swanderlust will be joined by 4 or 5 other casks ales, revealed a week before the event.
When we ran our lower key Bullock’s Arms through August in 2021, Touy’s Thai Kitchen was a huge hit. Touy and Miaow cooked up authentic Thai dishes, served with a smile. We’ve invited them back for our penultimate Tasting Day.
Leominster’s Swan Brewery was set up in 2015 by Jimmy Swan, a brewer of over 25 years’ experience, with the aim to brew classic beer styles exceptionally well. The brewery is 10 barrels in size, a microbrewery, which means each batch is 2,880 pints of expertly brewed ale. Raw materials are chosen with care: about 85% of the hops used are grown in Herefordshire or Worcestershire; the brewing grain is grown in the east of England; a unique strain of yeast is used which is propagated and harvested each time.
