The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre present a fresh interpretation of Geoffrey Chaucer’s classic series, The Canterbury Tales at The Courtyard this August.

This year’s Senior Youth Theatre show will bring together The Courtyard’s three Youth Theatres: Hereford, Bromyard and Kington. Last year the groups worked together to present War Game which received huge praise and critical acclaim.

This reinvented show has elements of slapstick comedy, fantastic one liners and fun for all the family. The Senior Youth Theatre have worked with directors Dan Pegler and Rebecca Cook to devise and explore each tale in six tremendous tongue-tingling tales narrated by the characters Chaucer met along the way.

With plenty of humour, The Canterbury Tales will deconstruct some of the original tales creating a fresh perspective of these mischievous tales that the whole family can enjoy.

The Canterbury Tales will be in The Courtyard’s Main House from Thursday 1 – Saturday 3 August at 7.30pm. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
