The Secret Garden – Outdoor Theatre at Hampton Court Castle

This summer, join young Mary Lennox on a journey of discovery as she is sent to her uncle’s house in the countryside, where mysteries and secrets lurk round every corner. As she makes new friends and encounters magical creatures, Mary has one burning question: where is the location of her uncle’s secret garden, and where has he hidden the key?

This year, Chapterhouse Theatre Company is delighted to be celebrating its 20th anniversary of bringing classical theatre productions to stunning country houses, castles, and heritage sites across the UK and Ireland. From the first year of performances at 30 venues with Romeo and Juliet in 2000, Chapterhouse now performs over 170 shows every year, and has become a greatly anticipated addition to thousands of theatre-goers’ calendars.

Gates open at Hampton Court Castle at 5.30pm with the performance at 6.30pm.

Please bring rugs or low-backed seating. Performances go ahead in all but the worst weather.
