The Weir Wonders trail

Visit The Weir Garden near Hereford this half term and children can learn how archaeologist’s use clues from the past to piece together stories about ancient cultures. Along the trail, there are stations encouraging young explorers to get creative and pick up their colouring tools. From mosaic puzzles, archaeological digs to helping decorate a large cut out Roman-pot, be a part of this journey into history.

Pick up your trail sheet from Visitor Reception. £3 per trail with a prize included.

Also enjoy the play area, a great spot to let off some steam. Climb aboard the secret tree house and exploring the trees. Spot creepy crawlies in the wild garden and find all the colours of the rainbow in the rockery.

There’s no better place to spend a day, having good old fashioned fun. Maybe play hide and seek or see what you can spot under rocks together. There’s no age limit to spending good quality time together, bring your camera and make memories that will last a lifetime.
