An Urban Bat Walk Through Hereford
Join the Hereford City Branch of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and local ‘batman’ James Bisset for an Urban Bat Walk Through Hereford and a chance to hear (and hopefully see) these marvels of the night during an easy Bat walk’n’talk around the banks of the River Wye in Hereford City.
After an introduction to these fascinating nocturnal mammals a gentle stroll starting in Wye Street will continue up to Victoria Bridge and along the South Bank to Greyfriars, then along to GWW and over the bridge before returning back via Greyfriars Avenue.
Bat detectors, to translate their ultrasonic calls to your hearing, will be available to borrow or bring your own detector if you have one.
Please wear sensible footwear and wet weather clothing if raining. No dogs please.
