Waterworks Museum Steam Open Day

Steam open day with Engines in steam at The Waterworks Museum Hereford.

Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a Victorian waterworks with all steam and other engines working.

There’s plenty for all the family too with children’s activities including the Frog Trail, Firefighting Quiz and Story of Water Quiz.

You can also learn about Hereford in World War Two in the Rotherwas exhibition.

Afterwards you can relax in our cafe or picnic in the grounds.

Established in 1974, the museum is an independent working museum concerned primarily, but not exclusively, with the story of the supply of water for public consumption from earliest habitation to the close of the 20th century.
