Hereford AppleFest Brings Cider To The City

To celebrate the 2022 harvest, the City of Hereford is bringing the world of the apple into the City. In the first annual Hereford AppleFest, from 1 to 16 October 2022, local businesses, councils, cider producers and community groups are banding together to provide an array of entertainment.

Activities include: live music, children’s activities, giveaways, themed trails, guest speakers, visits with local artisan cider & apple juice producers, virtual reality experiences, plus feasts and tastings.

Bookended by activities for all ages in High Town on 1 October and at Little Pomona on 16 October, the festival will see fringe events during the week in the city and throughout the county.

The 8 and 9 October sees the internationally-renowned Big Apple Harvestime festival taking place in nearby Much Marcle, coupled with the inaugural Hereford AppleFest Banquet on Saturday 8 October, to be held amid the splendour of Hereford’s historic Town Hall.
