Sat, Nov 17 HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS – ENCHANTED KINGDOM
Take a snowy footstep into the Enchanted Kingdom’s brand new Christmas Grotto, Hereford’s best Christmas attraction.
After two extremely successful years at Maylord Shopping Centre Hereford, they have very own permanent premises there. In addition to their new Christmas experience, they will be bringing numerous other live, interactive experiences throughout the year.
Surround yourself in the magic of one of the world’s most beloved Christmas tales… How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Upon entering the Enchanted Kingdom you will be swept away to Whoville to watch a LIVE performance featuring Cindy-Lou Who and the mean one himself…THE GRINCH!
After the show, take a walk into the Winter Wonderland in preparation for your moment with Santa Claus in the Enchanted Forest. Each child will be presented with a special gift.
In addition to this, photos will be taken with Santa, which can be purchased at your own discretion.

The Sunshine radio Live Stage will be in High Town with a start time of 3pm. The Lights will go on at 5pm with a finale from Brit Award winning headliners Liberty X.

Festival magic for all the family. Enjoy Hay Festival Winter Weekend and the start of Advent in Hay on Wye. See Hay-on-Wye transformed into a winter wonderland brimming with festive cheer!
Writer, broadcaster and smallholder Kate Humble will switch-on Hay-on-Wye’s Christmas Lights as part of her Hay Festival Winter Weekend appearance on Friday 23 November.
The free switch-on event will take place between 5pm and 7pm in The Cheese Market, accompanied by carol singing and readings to kick off the festival weekend in good spirits.
Families are invited to create their own colourful Christmas lanterns in Hay Public Library from 3.30pm, before joining the Hay Festival Winter Weekend procession at 5.30pm from the Library to the Market Square, led by Kate.
Kate is one of the UK’s best-known TV presenters. She started her television career as a researcher, later presenting programmes such as Animal Park, Springwatch and Autumnwatch, Lambing Live, Living with Nomads, Extreme Wives and Back to the Land.
Her new book, Thinking on my Feet, is an ode to the life-changing magic of the simple act of walking. Kate will be talking about the book on the Hay Festival Winter Weekend stage immediately following the lights switch-on. Her event is at 7pm in the Festival Tent. More information
